Industry Interaction — Summer Internship Program 2026

Senior management from 6 leading construction organisations interacted with faculty members and 74 students from four partner colleges — ACE Engineering College, OUCE, Matrusri Engineering College, and Methodist College of Engineering — participating in CENA’s 2026 Summer Internship Program.

Orientation Program

Construction Industry Orientation — OUCE, Osmania University

Career Orientation Program conducted at the University College of Engineering, Osmania University (OUCE) — introducing students to India’s construction industry landscape, career pathways, and professional opportunities across buildings, infrastructure, and specialist domains.

Student Project Work

Internship Project Jury & Student Project Placements — ACE Engineering College

Students presented internship project work to a jury of industry experts. 20 students confirmed for 3-month Student Project placements — 8 with My Home Construction (Shear Wall & Formwork), 4 with Preca (Precast Construction), 4 with Dr VSR Consultants (Geotechnical Engineering), 4 with Revolve Engineers (WTP/STP Design).

Sponsor Visits — Revolve Engineers & My Home Construction

As part of the Student Project Work program at ACE Engineering College, Faculty Team from ACE Engineering College visited Revolve Engineers’ office (WTP/STP Design specialisation) and the My Home Construction project site (Shear Wall & Formwork Technology) — gaining first-hand exposure to their respective project environments ahead of formal placement.

Career Orientation Program conducted for 3rd and 4th year civil engineering students at ACE Engineering College. Three senior construction industry professionals interacted with students — K. Bikshapathi (Retd. DG, NAC & EIC, R&B), V. Sekhar (Retd. Executive Director, PGCIL), and G. Venkata Prasad (Retd. Senior Executive, L&T).

Student Project Work

Sponsor Office Visits — My Home Construction & Dr VSR Consultants

Faculty Team along with CENA Founder Director visited the offices of project sponsors as part of CENA’s Student Project Work program — meeting the teams at My Home Construction (Shear Wall & Formwork Technology) and Dr VSR Consultants (Geotechnical Engineering) ahead of their three-month project placements.

Internship Program

Site Visit by Matrusri Engineering College Team— L&T Hospital Project, Hyderabad

Faculty and students visited the L&T constructed hospital project in Hyderabad as part of the CENA Internship Program — giving students first-hand exposure to live construction practice on a large-scale healthcare infrastructure project.

Written Assessment — Matrusri Engineering College

Written examination conducted for Matrusri Engineering College students as part of CENA’s Professional Assessment program — evaluating core civil engineering knowledge across subjects from Semesters I to VI.

Expert lecture on BOQ Preparation and Cost Estimation delivered by Mr Vara Prasad, Hill International India — part of the Internship Program learning module covering quantity surveying and cost management in real construction projects.
